Extract carefully each layers, especially the hamster (by pen). Then re-create the fur of the hamster by smudge.

Reduce the brightness, increase the shadow areas of the polices and the region of the basement around the corner. Change by curve and burn tool. The light on the time bomb and the hamster are also changed to fit the context

The layers of polices are blurred out (because they should be out of focus). The spotlight is made covering the hamster (by a layer painted with white brush, blur and reduce opacity).
