Pick your camera, some wooden letter from a toy and a wooden dummy, let's have some fun!

Convert the images to black and white and increase a lot the brightness/contrast

Mask the dummies in the way you want, I used the pentool.
Then place them on the letters

Apply brightness/contrast again to match the figures and add some brush strokes under the feet to make the shadows.
