Using the pen tool, I drew the window sill and frame

I painted in the sill and the used the burn tool to add texture and shadow

I used the elliptical marquee tool and the pen tool to draw the glass. I then painted it in, reduced opacity, burned the darker areas and added blurred shine.

Using the pen tool, I drew the vine, then filled it in, using dodge and burn for depth.

Next, I painted in the window frame.

I increased and decreased the brightness on the window frame and then used burn to add some texture. Burn on the wall and dodge on the sand. Painted in the mountains and used dodge and burn on them. Then I blurred them just a bit.

Painted the cactus and used dodge and burn.

Using a very small brush, I drew the limbs of the brush in first, then used a natural brush to add leaves.

Added some rocks using a small, dry brush and dodge and burn. Finally, some grass, using a natural brush and then a hard smudge to pull the grass up, some shadows and some wondow shine.
