Extracted parts of the watch, eradicated the type, added new type, gave it a bevel and layer style to blend with the source texture, then added the gear
step 2 of 11
Duplicated the watch, then extrcted and added the gear.
step 3 of 11
Extracted the watch strap.
step 4 of 11
Warp the strap to fit bull's head, for left and then right side. Made a clipping mask to the bull statue layer.
step 5 of 11
Did the same for the right side. Left the 'seam' in between the layers intentionally.
step 6 of 11
Warped the strap for the body, then made a clipping mask to the bull statue layer.
step 7 of 11
Typed, then added bevel and emboss, then warped the two words to fit the space. Distored the entire piece to the side of the bull. Added some shadow.
step 8 of 11
Created a cityscape from the watch center and the chrome button, and flipped vertically for the reflection, and blurred both layers.
step 9 of 11
Added the watch with gear parts to a shape similar to the one on the side, added some layer effects and a couple of cobwebs (brushes), gave the entire group a shadow.
step 10 of 11
Made a reflection for the bull, took the curly rug part of the source and made difference clouds for the sky, warped the strap for the foreground, and finally, painted a layer behind the bull and buildings with a deep blue, then orange to give it a soft glow. Added a couple of "snorts" to the bull for good measure.
step 11 of 11
How do you edit the SBS?
For step 5, the dotted line is showing the part of the strap (with lowered opacity) about to be extracted.
Great work! The SBS was really helpful - shows all the hard work.
