In Contest:
robo transform
step 1 of 10
The arm is a photo of my own.
Used the various leather sources for the thread and cut.
step 2 of 10
Duplicated and extended htread and cut.
Added burn on the arm for effect.
step 3 of 10
Created the split using transform, and liquify.
step 4 of 10
Added the wires from source.
step 5 of 10
Resized tubes from source.
step 6 of 10
Created the "inners" of the tubes by simply using the paint brush and dodge burn.
step 7 of 10
Added shading to the wires and tubes.
step 8 of 10
Added a few more pipes that i simply drew and added bevel.
Destaurated to effect.
Messed around with the balance a bit...
step 9 of 10
Drew pipes going into fingers. created the raised effect by simply using dodge and burn.
Created simple background.
