nostrils of the juana was manipulated to fruit by changing hue and blending options and curves, and the spikes was extracted using pen tool to make leaves.. again the hue, curves and blending options were used... then it was duplicated number of times.....
wrinkles near the forehand of the juana was transformed to tree and tree trunk, using distort - shear and dodge and burn... with change in hue/sat..

the face of the juana was warped to the birds face, and the spikes on its back was warped into the birds crown..

limbs of juana was warped to wings and topped with the sunrise grad as the "hue" layer.. limbs was then duplicated number of times, with diff masks to get variations in the shades and then warped to feathers, liquified to get the final o/p...
the part lfet to the limbs was warped to foot of juana....

finally adjusted the overall brightness and contrast and hue/sat using adjustment layers....
