Create a clipping path around the boat to where one end would be sticking up out of the water.

Cut out of the original source

Blend it with the water

Repaste the cut out of the original background. We need to add depth to the other side
Reselect the shape you made and move it over to the left a bit, then press delete. You will be left with the remaining boat on the right.
Use the burn tool to let it appear it's behind the boat.

I tried to make an iceberg but it didn't look right with the image.
I used gradient fill over the image
yellow for sun
blue for water
Pretty simple stuff.
