Ok, first I created the stone wall kinda background.. and to do this.. open new file, go to the channels tab, create a new channel, by default 'alpha 1'.
step 2 of 13
now goto render and apply clouds filter, make sure the foreground and background colors are to default colors i.e., black and white.
step 3 of 13
Now switch back to layers palette and create a new layer, also fill it with white color and now goto render>lighting effects, in the dialog window change the 'texture channel' to 'alpha 1' and adjust the default lighting as you need..
step 4 of 13
after adjusting the light, click ok and you'll find the effect on the new layer.. I used burn tool to darken the edges..
step 5 of 13
I used the color balance option from the image adjustments to get the brownish color to the stone wall..
step 6 of 13
added the paper and applied drop shadow to it..
step 7 of 13
applied a little bit of wall texture to the paper and added some grass using brush tool..
step 8 of 13
added more elements to the painting and using burn tool created shelves in the wall..
step 9 of 13
in a new file, created the hairs of brush using burn tool and then smudging it..
step 10 of 13
similarly created the paint bucket, using burn and dodge tool..
step 11 of 13
and the stamp kinda tool..
step 12 of 13
started placing the tools in the shelves..
step 13 of 13
and finally placed all the other items.. so there are 2 paint bucket tools, 1 brush tool, 1 stamp tool (dunno what it was used for in that time.. ;) ) and 2 new paper sheets..
