Project made with Maya 2010, Mentalray, and Photoshop

First step was to make the egg carton, i did this by starting out with a simple polygonal cube that was extruded to get the desired shape.

this is how it turned out after. not the cleanest mesh...

eggs shaped from polygonal spheres and duplicated.

this is the shader networks for the objects.

the top one is for the eggs, bottom one is for the the carton.

step 5 of 6

this is how the scene is lit up with studio lighting. x2 area lights shine onto reflective surfaces + 1 point light hovering above the objects.
The cameras are also viewable in green.
