started by drawing and easel with the pen tool

then established the vanishing points through the filters menu

i then pasted the source and filtered it to look like a painting
step 4 of 6
then took a 'snapshot' of my interface and cut and pasted my 'tools, swatches, and layers' windows within the vanishing point filter
step 5 of 6
i drew a paint brush to resemble the icon from the 'brush' tool by using the pen and airbrush tools
step 6 of 6
and finally i added some color to the easel and the brush tip, after resizing the brush and positioning it where i wanted it
