unreal buildings

Open up Cinema 4D
Create Two Planes.
make them editable.
using the Magnet tool on the upper Plane make hills and valleys.

Using the Reselector Plugin
Set it to Polygons, Sub and 70%
Select All Polygons
Then click Select on ReSelector
Extrude Inner
Extrude
Select on ReSelector
Repeat from Select All Polys
Do 2 to three times.
On the third time extrude longer for tall buildings.

Repeat Step 2 on Bottom Plane and rotate Top Plane

Create a Cylinder
Decrease the number of Vertical Segments and add a few on the Horizontal Segments.
Make Editable.
Select All Polys.
Extrude Inner then Extrude.
step 5 of 5
Put the cylinder from step 4 in the middle.
Add 2 to 4 Omni Volumetric Lights with Shadows.
Adjust Lights Intensities.
Add Textures/Shaders.
Add Global Illumination.
Tada!
