Board from foxhole is shaped in 3 steps for door and walls

Stones are cut from source with polygonal lasso tool and shaped with eraser tool.

Cottage is sketched in with bamboo wacom tablet and pen.

Left door is formed with board that is rotated to angle then duplicated and moved into place. When complete, left door boards are merged, then door is duplicated and flipped horizontallly, then moved into place on right.

Door panel is duplicated again several times, rotated, then used along front wall.

Stone sections are being sized and duplicated to cover along top of windows and rest of front wall. Distort and perspective tools help to shape stones for over windows.

Here the walls are finished. Burn tool is used between rocks.

Roof is covered with grasses taken from source photo using lasso tool. Section of grass is shaped with eraser tool to fit roof, then edges are darkened with burn tool to give more shape to roof. Later, filter will give more color to it, also.

Curtains are brushed in, then windows are separated into sections using the brush tool. I used the grid (view/show/grid) to help determine width of window openings and to get them straight.

Red Riding Hood is added using the brush tools to draw her, then to fill in colors. Burn tool and dodge tools give shape to her head and clothes. The basket is done the same way.

Bluebirds are drawn in with brush tool.

Bluebird is finished using fine brush for details, then when finished it is duplicated. The 2nd one is flipped horizontally, the they are both given shadows on left sides w burn tool. Birds are placed above RRH's head since it looks like she is looking up at them.

Flowers are added next after scaling source way down. Also, smoke is added to chimney with soft brush tool.

Finally, a filter in a golden brown color is added with opacity of 65 - 70%.

I decided to add a squirrel , but also the wolf hiding down behind a tree. These were drawn in with the brush tool. I added both a blue and a brown filter over all after merging all the layers.
