I started by creating a single wine glass which was simply a case of revolving the correct shape

Next I created the wine, I did this by copying the outline of the glass, and drawing the wine revolve inside the sketch

The spilt wine was a simple spline extruded, the remaining wine in the glass was a revolve which was then cut to size.

The final assembly was created by bringing in all the individual parts and applying the appropriate mates. I then applied materials and setup a camera. I had a lot of trouble getting the wine to look right through the glass, in the end I found clear red plastic looked best, but not what I was really looking for. The final render was a balance between quality and what my computer was capable of rendering.
