Using pen tool, selected only the "head" of the sculpture; then distorted, copied and pasted several times; merged layers; smudged the slices to get them uniform; copied and pasted a part of the sculpture, and applied overlay blending on the lateral.

Copied, pasted and masked dog's tongue; after all created some grass on the base of the sculpture.
