Add source picture and duplicate layers of it and the cat head. Sandwich cat head copy between the girl head layers.Erase girls face on copy layer.
step 3 of 3
Using Edit/Transform/Distort fit cats head in erased area to your liking. Using transparency in the layer1 copy make the layer invisible enough so that you can see the cat. On that layer erase around cats ears . After that make the layer non-transparent. Make finishing tweeks with erases, smudge, blur and burn tools. Draw in cat wiskers over hands. Finished.
