Add a light brown background (it will turn into a blanket after).

On a new layer, I drew the sketch.

New layer: following the sketch, using a soft brush, I painted the body with white color. Added noise, and smudged, making the fur.

I drew details, like nose, mouth. On a layer under this one I painted the ears, and used burn and dodge tools.
