Copter is chopped and entire thing will be duplicated to begin the tracks for the coaster.
step 3 of 14
Before beginning duplications, the distort tool is used to shorten up the copter and slightly distort it.
step 4 of 14
Duplications have been done with the alt key while clicking on image to be duplicated. They need to be spaced at regular intervals, and can be gradually moved one side or the other to make the track twist or change directions.
step 5 of 14
Hue and saturation tool has been used to change the colors to brighter ones.
step 6 of 14
The copter body is inserted here to be sized and fitted to the track curve.
step 7 of 14
Liquify warp tool is used to shape the copter body.
step 8 of 14
People in seats are removed from source photo and inserted into the 'copter' car. Smudge tool and brush tools will help merge them into the car.
step 9 of 14
More tracks are added in an upper layer using props at rear of the copter.
step 10 of 14
Here more detailed work has been done on the car using brush tools and smudge tool.
step 11 of 14
Copter tail blades are added to top of car after scaling down, then motion blur is added.
step 12 of 14
The canvas is doubled in size here, since I decided to put more depth into the coaster. New area is filled with duplicated tracks and more new tracks will be added with copter props duplicated as at top.
step 13 of 14
New track started here.

New tracks are completed, then copter car is duplicated from top, inserted into bottom of canvas, shadows added where needed, then filters in dark red, dark blue, and gold added over entire merged canvas.
