Source chopping of keyboard begun after taking resolution up to 120. A new canvas is being used 10 x 20 in size. I started with a black background layer.
step 7 of 15
Background is changed to a red gradient here.
step 8 of 15
Music staff and notes are created with brush tool. One line of staff is drawn in first, then duplicated 4 more times, placing lines at even spacing below the first line. Notes are made with ovals from brush palette.
step 9 of 15
Staff and notes are brought into red background, with some transparent circles in low opacity. More will be added later.
step 10 of 15
Guitar hands are added. Most of background will be tken out with eraser tools.
step 11 of 15
Accordian is added the same way, merging being done using eraser tool on edges. More scaling will be done when all photos are added
step 12 of 15
Trumpet player is added here. Not all of trumpet will be left when chopped so hands will be the most important part.
step 13 of 15
All sources have been added, now sizing and placement will be finished. As placing is done, it is good to create a nice flow through the entire canvas. Some of the background should be showing when done.
step 14 of 15
Musical staff is duplicated and worked into background. Some are more toward the back and others are on top to create more depth. Black music doesn't really show well, so it is lightened with color changing tools.
step 15 of 15
A dark brown filter at 50% opacity is placed over entire canvas after it is merged visibly.
