Again duplicated the metal background (the small one) and made holes in it.
step 4 of 11
Added the objects in the holes. The 'A', '@' and the '?' are just letters; font Times new Roman.
step 5 of 11
The brass colored back ground: made this again with the same metal background source. Pentooled a figure and later on used the smudge tool took make the smaller decorations on the outside.
step 6 of 11
Not really visible but added them anyway; some dripping stains. Started of with a small stain, used lending options to create a shadow and bevel, because of this I could modify this stain later on with the smudgetool and keep the shadows and bevel where ever I went.
step 7 of 11
Added the brass buttons and the letters and numbers on top and beside the holes.
step 8 of 11
Added the rims around the holes. Again used the metal background, colored it and gave it bevel and shadows.
step 9 of 11
To add more to the steampunk look I made some small tubes (bevel, shadow) and made some steam on top.
step 10 of 11
To add to the old look (eventhough this is how it comes out of the package) there's some free wires added (which serve absoluty no purpose).
step 11 of 11
Finally the modernday technique, the USB ports, and 5 customisable plugs. Don't forget the USB cable coming out to plug this "steammachine" into your computer.
