Add a blueprint as backdrop (front and from above) and fit it.

Add basic meshes to start modeling the objects.

Model your way through the blueprint.
I only modeled as far as I felt comfortable. I didn't plan on rebuilding the model. I wanted to use it as a base.
So I just textured my base and focussed on lights and compositor settings.

Added compositor settings.
1. DOF: Defocus; Bokeh type: Disk, fstop: 4.51; Maxblur: 0.00; Bthreshold: 1
2. Sharpen: 0.15
3. RGB curves: slight "S" in C, more Highlights in blue, more Darkness in red
