On a canvas 10 x 20, the container for the arrangement is made by duplicating the fork as seen below. The blue jewel is distorted to a thin vertical shape and duplicated around outside of fork shape.
step 2 of 11
Larger flower formed with fork handle. Petals are duplicated and rotated around the center jewel
step 3 of 11
Steps to forming the blue flower which I used in different sizes.
step 4 of 11
Hyacinth-type flowers steps are below using duplication of small jewel.
step 5 of 11
To begin background, jewels are placed over canvas to be liquify warped in next step.
step 6 of 11
Jewels are liquify warped to duplicate and scale into long strip.
step 7 of 11
Liquified design is scaled into narrow, vertical strip, then duplicated and flipped horizontally. These two strips are merged, then this section is duplicated and flipped until canvas is filled. A gradient layer will go over this design. I will try several different colors before I am finished by tring to find a complementary background.
step 8 of 11
Here some background fill pieces are formed with fork duplications and lliquify warped into interesting, rather flowing pieces. These are placed in container first, then flowers are being added Various flowers are changed with hue/saturation tool to vary the colors in the arrangement.
step 9 of 11
Arrangement is tried here with blue background, but will be changed again to get a better color relationship.
step 10 of 11
Finally, the background is changed over to shade of blue background and merged at a lower resolution for publishing.
step 11 of 11
Here a background llighting effect has been added behind the arrangement, and also cloth effect around container at bottom. This helped set the background apart from the arrangement.
