step 1 of 3

basic sketching with pencil in ps, painted it with mono colour to help selections..
head: used big soft brush and painted diff colours into areas, then used smudge for viens..
tantacles: used blue to paint it all and started giving details like scales using burn tool, brush and smudge for cuts and soft brush for added deatils...
foetus: took a hard brush and painted using brush of diff size, selected it and used a large soft brush to define jus the edges, and inner details..

step 2 of 3

similarly, started with hard brush to paint face with monocolour for selection purposes... then decided the colour for various parts, adjusted the saturation..
then smudge, burn and dodge... added the new layer to pronounce the shadows...
onaments, eyes and lips done in same way...

step 3 of 3

added the neck and dress... adjusted the hue/sat to give more focus on upper part... added a simple black bckgrnd.. painted lil black over part of tentacle to add depth...
