The whole image was created with simple brushes, with different opacities, and the ruler. As shown in the steps first I drew a basic construction sketch, then added the basic black and white of the eye. Then I added shadows, then highlights then eyelashes. Absolutely no filters were used I did use the smudge tool, and the blur tool to soften things up a bit. Enjoy!
