Rocking horse chopped and over red sky background, some stretching done with scale tool.
step 6 of 12
Horse is now scaled taller and longer, then desaturated and darkened with color tools.
step 7 of 12
Wings are added with brush tool when scaling is done, then horse is duplicated and made smaller for the bride.
step 8 of 12
Bride and groom are brushed in with brush tools and edges are softly blurred with blur tool since they are moving through the sky. The veil and train on the bride will later have opacity lowered so that light from sky can show through them.
step 9 of 12
Steeples are chopped and added here, using scale tool to stretch them taller, tops lowered a little in opacity later on to soften against the birds and horse legs.
step 10 of 12
Now the birds are made with brush tool. The first bird is on a new layer, then is duplicated and scaled to different sizes, then rotated and flipped for final placement.
step 11 of 12
Trees are chopped, then duplicated to place along bottom. Some duplicates are flipped horizontally and overlapped with others. Some dark green is brushed over tree area.
step 12 of 12
Fog is now added with very soft brush tool in offwhite and gray tones over moon layer. Color tones are adjusted now with hue/saturation tool and filters in gray/blue are added over merged layers to completed canvas. Opacity of filters is set to 25%.
