Added an image of a burning house. Then I resized the image and after that I masked away the parts I didn't need.

Added more fire around the building using a stock image from sxc.hu. I also added some smoke above the building.

Used the puppet warp tool (a photoshop CS5 option) to let the soldier aim to the ground.

Added, resized the women and I masked away the parts I didn't need.

Now I started to adjust the colors, contrast, lightning etc.
And for the details I gave the airplanes and helicopters motion blurs.
Beleave me, It was a lot of work for such small details. Used about 3 layers for just 1 helicopter !

Decided I wanted a different sky. Masked away all the parts I didn't need. That was Really REALLY a lot of work!
After that, I created a shadow for the women and for the soldier with the brush tool. I
also added a few more details.

Now I just started to add masks and blends and gradients etc. Also adjusted the colors and the contrast a bit.
