These were the wings after some photoshopping. More alterations were created once the two images were combined. which you'll seee in the steps towards the end.

Added girl in bottom frame. I selected the parts of the girl I didn't want to blend into background of frame. Inversed selection and added the underpainting filter. Original image at link.

Fairy reaching in bottom frame added. Trued to blend foot into background image with some of the grass coming out of the frame.
