step 1 of 31

I found this on DeviantArt and downloaded via the link at the bottom of screen. I found that the pics actually belong to Alexander Yakovlev so I went to his website and contacted him via email to ask permission to use one of his pics.
He wrote back to say that it was ok. This is the email which I will gladly forward to anyone.

I used this image again to overlay onto the back wall

Creation of Rinsed: Step 27

step 28 of 31

I wanted a wall of water and found this pic, it is called Water Veil by conexau and I felt that it fitted perfectly.

Next I made a new layer then cmd-alt-shft-e to incorporate all layers, desaturated and blurred then set blending mode to overlay. It was far too contrasty so I lowered the opacity. Then I picked a solid colour layer to overlay to change look slightly.

Creation of Rinsed: Step 29

step 30 of 31

Next I made a new layer and painted with a splatter brush onto the dancer's clothing and set this layer to multiply. My aim was to make the clothing look wetter.

So this is the before shot, once again thank you to Alexander Yakovlev.
