Duplicated the image
Using a dry brush filter on the image, then fade

Filter paint dabs then fade, applied these filters till I had built up a painting effect

Duplicated the original image and desaturated it, then applied a cut out filter

Added a picture of my hand

On the layer cut out filtered, selected edges
Cut out part of the image and cleaned up the edges

Started to clean up the image by panting in black to add detail
step 7 of 8
added numbers and adjusted the brightness and contrast
step 8 of 8
Using the clone tool cleaned up the image
