Use color from red area and use brush with scatter setting. See palette. Use variance in color and brush in circular pattern.

Add hinges for floor. Create thickness for door of stairway. Add all furniture into position. Add color on own layer for frame...to represent a painting.

Add moulding around staircase door. Add darkening to underseat of cushion on chair, drawer and cabinet.

Copy cushion to a new layer and rotate. Copy drawer door to new layer and move down and over. Do the same for door of cabinet...rotating slightly. Using mirror, cut parts from path and make shards of glass pieces. Create cracks from stroked path. Add sides of drawer with wood panels. Add all shadows underneath furniture and in between as well.

Add food bowl from two different gradients. Inside and outer bowl. Add shadows for bowl. Add food with brown layer and using a standard round brush on scatter setting, brushed into layer mask. Used a bevel layer style with drop shadow. Also both uncut images of cat are mine and shown. One image is for body. Other is for legs. One paw is cloned and flipped horizontally.

Masked out cat and assemble parts. Use dodge and burn layer to make paw streaks. Darken top of main open room above.
