With the Liquify Bloat Tool, I enlarged the lips.

With the clone tool and a reduced opacity paint brush, I removed the water highlights.

The background was re-created by sampling the image, and then adjusting the lighting with a gradient adjustment layer.
step 5 of 5
The hair was reshaped, and the lips given more of a "kissing" shape, the earring cloned in, and the skin tones smoothed.
