A Work in Progress: pop girl

step 1 of 5

Using the stock imge,cut out the girl from the background add a new white layer
Duplicated this layer and invert it, changed the blend to colour doge and applied a Gaussian blur to bring back the details add a new layer threshold and adjusted to suit

step 2 of 5

Add a new layer for the skin colour changed to multiply rubbed out the eyes

step 3 of 5

Duplicated my original image placed it on top, then filter halftone setting 2 and contrast 50 changed the blend to overlay

step 4 of 5

Added two new layer pink for the dress rubbed out over the skin and hair.
Green for the background rubbing out over the girl, changed both layers to soft light.
Add a shape and rubbed out bits I did not want to make the look behind her
Painted in the lips

step 5 of 5

Save as a jpeg burned around the hair to dark it.
Added a photo filter and borders
