Extract the bass, complete and warp the tail to curl over the top of the blender.

Made a copy of the top of the blender and lowered its opacity, put the bass between the two blender layers, then added a mask on the bass layer (2 sections, one at the bottom and one where the lid would cross in front of it).

Add type to the blender side with some layer effects - used the font Cooper, the same as the original in the skit.

Used the poster edges filter for the bass, the blender and wood paneling.

Made a few hue/sat adjustments using primary "pop" colors.

Using the threshhold adjustment, I made two layers for the chef. Once the image was desaturated, I wanted a lot of solid areas underneath in one 'color', and more refined areas on top in black. Also filled with a color with mode set to darken and clipped it to previous layer. This took some experimenting, but I achieved my desired effect.
