step 1 of 4

The first step is the hardest. Finding a right photo that will look good after applying curves.

After finding one I select

image/adjustments/curves

note: I am using Photoshop 3 for windows.

Now I have my curves pallet oven. As you can see from the screenshot, I have made th waves on the pallet extra wavy. The more waves put in it, the more the colors explode!

step 3 of 4

After I applied the curves, I select filter/blur/Gaussian blur to reduce some of the grain caused by the curves effect.

step 4 of 4

I set the blur for .5, just enough to smooth it out a little without loosing too much detail.
