1. The first step is all 12 photos I’ve used to create the panorama. I thought this might be easier than 12 separate steps. Please note I’m using Photoshop 3 to merge the photos and you will need to have Ps3 or higher to follow along.

2. The next step I select file/automate/photomerge

3. This will bring up the photomerge pallet. I select auto by default from the Layout options to the left and click add open files and click ok.

4. After the merge process, I end up with something like this.

5. I merge the visible layers by selecting layer/merge visible and crop the image.

6. Now I adjust the contrast and bump it way up by selecting image/adjustments/brightness/contrast.

7. I just adjust the contrast.

8. Now I open my curves pallet

9. As you can see I have bent the waves into multiples and very long and steep, making the colors come out like they do.

10. For my final step, to reduce some of the grain left behind the curves effect, I go to filter/blur/Gaussian blur

11. I select 0.5 to just barely touch it without losing too much quality.
