Whole source image was liquify warped, scaled in half sideways, duplicated, flipped horizontally, then merged together.
step 2 of 10
Here the petals are being formed from a section lassoed from the bunny fur. I first used the liquify twirl tool to slightly change the fur pattern, leaving shapes that more resembled shapes of flower petals. Shapes were cut out with eraser tool.
step 3 of 10
From the bunny fur petals, these flowers have been created with color changes using hue/saturation tool. These flowers will be scaled to various sizes using edit/scale tool, some having stems and leaves painted in with brush tool.
step 4 of 10
Background has had gradient layer added (will be darkened later), and more flowers created. Stems of rose-colored blossoms are created from a small pink ribbon on one of the bunnies, duplications, then stem made with brush tool.
step 5 of 10
Bunny was lassoed out of source, and here the missing portions are being cloned in with soft brush clone tool.
step 6 of 10
Additional cloning has been done to the bunny. It will be flipped horizontally to add to image and more work done on details later.
step 7 of 10
Here the rose-colored stems are added and larger flowers. It was really at this point that I decided to add smaller flowers.
step 8 of 10
Most of flowers have been added here, trying to keep a good balance of smaller flowers toward the top. Also, a nice balance of colors is attempted.
step 9 of 10
lNow the football becomes an easter eggs using the brush tools. At this point, more work was done on bunny paws and 'arms' holding the egg. Face of bunny is also detailed further.
step 10 of 10
Finally, egg is lassoed out, rounded ends of 'whole' eggs brushed in, then duplications made. These duplicates are scaled to varying sizes and color changed with hue/saturation tool and shaded with burn tool. Then a dark red filter at 15% is placed over entire merged image.
