using magic wand tool, made a selection of the blue area and made it one solid color.leaving scratches in the image to add realism.

set layer from last step to luminosity at 55%

made a render of the duck using the pen tool. made this into a selection from the paths channel.

resized and placed my selection into the image. set color to match the sign.

added text from Twitter post, and text for the duck with a warp effect.
After this step, I rasterized my fonts and applied a 0.5px Gaussian blur to the duck and font to achieve the finished image.
