I traced this shape from my reference pic and exported paths to Illustrator
step 3 of 20
I used Arial Narrow in Illustrator and then converted to outline.

step 13 of 20
I created a path for the hat.
step 14 of 20
Imported into C4D
step 15 of 20
I placed my path in a Lathe Nurbs tool and also added a tube for the base trim.
step 16 of 20
I stretched my hat and added 2 bend deformers to slightly curl the brim. (This didn't work out too well.)
step 17 of 20
My cane is another path.
step 18 of 20
Brought in to C4D
step 19 of 20
Placed in a Lathe Nurbs.
step 20 of 20
A bit of tweaking and added a bend deformer.
I set up my scene with materials, lights etc and hoped for the best. I rendered with ambient occlusion and global illumination.
