Tree source is used on left side where recipe will be attached, waterfall scene at top right and other background sources at bottom. These are all to be blended using eraser and smudge tools after sizing them all to the same resolution. Tree at left will be dupllicated after lassoing it with magnetic lasso, then added to make tree taller.

Here the background is almost complete with most blending complete.

Kettle is added and flames started using brush tool and smudge tool. Size of kettle will be determined after recipe is finished.

Sign is added here. Shape was first brushed in with brush tool, Edges are 'cut' into with eraser tool, then burn and dodge tools create the dark edges and lighter areas where 'paper' is curved. Text tool is used for the writing of recipe, then the text is warped with the bulge setting. Text used is 'dolphin'. After text is finished, texturizer tool is used for the texture.

Canvas has been widened here to allow room for more large leafed plants for elephants to hide behind.

Elephants have been chopped, scaled to size, and added at right side of image. Leaves cut out of the one background source are used in layers with the elephants to 'hide' them from the cook. Edges are then blended before merging.

More refining of fire under pot is done now, and smoke added - even a slight haze is softly brushed over most of background.
