Nebula source has been cropped into lighter areas of it then covered with a pastel gradient layer.

Lilies are merged into tree layer and swan being chopped

Swan is chopped and will be cloned to get rid of large shadow area, then nebula layer is added and reduced in opacity to just allow highlights to shine.

Finally, birds are added with brush tool, then an additional nebula layer is added with more being removed from foreground area to add to perspective.
