Eagle nebulae source layered over background for stars.
step 2 of 11
From handle of knife, head and neck of goose are warped using liquify/warp tool.
step 3 of 11
For breast of goose, the handle of knife is duplicated and applied in close proximity to each other, using rotate and scale tools to change direction of sections and their sizes.
step 4 of 11
After breast is formed, the back wing is formed - also using duplicates of knife handle.
step 5 of 11
Both wings have been completed, and tail area is started in the same way.
step 6 of 11
Here is the beginning of warp-liquifying the knife and holder to be used as the background and water.
step 7 of 11
Warping for water has been completed, and the goose is moved into the convas.
step 8 of 11
Image is reversed with edit/transform/flip horizontally, and water and goose are color changed.
A duplicated of the goose is flipped vertically and reduced in opacity to create reflection. A smudge tool helps add water movement to it.
step 9 of 11
Hanging leaves and grasses are created from the blade of the knife using liquify warp, smudge, and eraser tools. They will be stretched and scaled to various sizes, and color changed as well.
step 10 of 11
Leaves have been added here, some lightened or darkened to set them forward or backward.
step 11 of 11
Nebulae is added, enlarging it and just using the dark part of the source. Using hue/saturation tool, the color is brought up to match rest of water. Opacity is reduced to 50% so that 'stars' still show, and with brush tool the star accent shapes are added.
