set up the image planes

started with a cube

to keep it low poly, decided not to use booleans.. modeled the old fashion way

aded different scoups to the back cover of the phone.. the trick was to keep the edges evenly separated to keep my original shape

started to model the rim, also from a plane.. from wich i deleted the middle faces and then extruded

i made the glass from a simple plane

made the central button. first i extruded the glass inwards to make the holder scoup, and the extracted and extruded the faces to make the button

started to make the side buttons

made the camera rim from a cube

i only used booleans for the camera glass

made the speaker the same way i did the central button

this is my phone so far.. trying to keep it low poly didn't quite worked :)

rendered with alpha channel so i can cut out the background

filled a layer in PS with black and used noise filter

made some quick drawings with a regular brush

using the clouds and the drawings layer in overlay mode i made the starfield behind
