roof is chopped out and liquify warped to change shape.
step 2 of 8
Petals for flowers have been shaped with liquify warp, then shaped further with dodge and burn tools.
step 3 of 8
Center is added after petals are duplicated, and rotated to form flower. This will be duplicated after merging, then scaled small enough to form hanging flower bunches.
step 4 of 8
Bird body is shaped from piece of the roof. Wings are also shaped at this time.
step 5 of 8
Detailing of bird has been done here mostly using the burn and smudge tools. Dodge tool will add highlights.
step 6 of 8
Fence is now chopped and scaled to fit canvas. Only immediate fence area will be left for final image.
step 7 of 8
Birdhouse bottom is fashioned from the trash can on the boardwalk. Perspective is changed, and also the shape using the warp too.
step 8 of 8
Background source has been added on layer behind rest of image. Horse and wire fence have been removed using clone tools, and color change has been used to give more bluish tones to work better with overall color scheme. Finally, the bird is scaled to size and placed on fence.
