Cut out Skull and left it on a black background.

Made smoke effects in photoshop using a black background, white lines, Gaussian blur, and distortion.

Colored smoke different colors for added effect.

Stacked the smoke to make it look like it is coming from the skull and made a vertical copy to add spread out.
step 5 of 5
Attached smoke to skull and sized to desired. Shrank stock photo and merged all on black background.
