The Lever,

1. Cylinder, rounded edges.

2. H spline, extrude, FFD modifier, Hyper Nurbs, Small point adjustment.

The Stand:

1. 4 verticle cylinders ontop of a beveled cube.
2. main shaft cylinder
3. helix spline, sized and positioned to match center part, with circle spline attached as a sweep nurb.
4. Little cylinder base
5. Lathe nurbs on a biexer spline drawn freehand.

Thingy.

1. Base Plate, point modeled a disc object, added some half torus for clips.
2. draw spline, duplicate torus along spline with rotation.
3. Cylinder, torus, clever little tweaks so it all fits.

Weights:

1. Brick, Cube, basic modeling, texture from source. Added B&W version into bump and displacement for tough texture edges.

2. Feather, spline freehand, circle sweep, select edges, add hair, mess around with parameters.

1. Spot light (orangeish), soft shadows
