Thingy.
1. Base Plate, point modeled a disc object, added some half torus for clips.
2. draw spline, duplicate torus along spline with rotation.
3. Cylinder, torus, clever little tweaks so it all fits.

1. Brick, Cube, basic modeling, texture from source. Added B&W version into bump and displacement for tough texture edges.
2. Feather, spline freehand, circle sweep, select edges, add hair, mess around with parameters.
