1. add gradient background.

2.new layer: use falln tree brush .

3.cut out brown fur of camel ear *source*
paste into new layer.

4. shape and clip to brush layer.

5> dodge and burn shade and highlight.

6. Filter> Blur> guss'

7. duplicate completed tree branch layer. EDIT>TRANSFORM>FLIP HORIZIONTAL .Repostion on other side of screen.

BIRDHOUSE:

1. new layer.. camel fur brown from ear.

create strips.. -woodplank shapes.
create bird house shape from planks.. dodge and burn for shadow and highlights... settings: approx. 17-19% use mid tones and highlight settings.

FOR DOOR:

create a oval , fill with black.
position oval where door would be. then go back to birdhouse planks and burn around the outer edge of oval on the planks .

How to clip.
hold ALT on keyboard. take mouse and position between the 2 layers you wish to join together or CLIP together.
IF mouse is in correct place it will change shape and the two layers will join together

new layer.. paint shape. oval for bird body... use smudge for a few feather strands

new layer paint oval for head, smudge again.

cut out blue from source. paste 2 layers of blue. clip to shapes.

dodge and burn.

EYES: cut ovals from camel skin on face. cut out eye of camel. dodge /burn and add a couple of white spots to eyes.

FEATHERS.
cut from flowers. shape dodge /burn.

blue feathers are from the same blue background . just shape , dodge and burn.

LEGS. camel skin.
paint leg shape.. clip camil skin to painted layer.. dodge /burn.

FRONT TREES AND FLOWERS:

use Falln branches:
paint branch clip flower (RED MATAERIAL) to branch.

cut out flower from source. duplicate HEAPS... position on branch. adjust size of flower for variety.

when happy with flowers.. merge the group together and add dodge /burn for shade and highlight.

WORM: cut out cord from source. add dodge and burn for shape... add white dot then smaller black dot for eyes.
