Added colors in the Multiply Mode first, after get enough darker & lighter parts of the face, I set it back to Normal.
step 3 of 18
The color layer set to Normal mode.
step 4 of 18
Added grayish basic tone.
step 5 of 18
Added new layer to color the spectacles.
step 6 of 18
Added minor details, in this part, for me it was the most exciting step. The highlights!
step 7 of 18
Started to bring the hair & headband colors.
step 8 of 18
New layer > color the Pirate Hat > CTRL + LEFT CLICK to the layer to select the pixels on that layer.
Start to color the highlights tones a bit on the edge after that.
step 9 of 18
New layer > Color the cloak of shadows, brought the highlights part after that.
step 10 of 18
CTRL + LEFT CLICK to the layer to active the selection pixels & brought the secondary intense highlight.
step 11 of 18
Start to color Parrot... wait? Is that a Cockatoo? Yeah... YES! I'm totally wrong about it.
That's because of RIO. I thought the Cockatoo was a Parrot.
step 12 of 18
I made my BG red in order to see through the bright details while coloring the so-called Parrot layer.
step 13 of 18
Finished the Cockatoo, added the details of the cloak & start to color the scarf.
step 14 of 18
DAYS TWO.
I'm sorry if the step was over-leap. Forgot to screencap as usual. Lol.
Anyway, in this step, after done with the clothing parts, I added clipping-mask to them; added HAND_MADE textures which set to Overlay & Soft Light Mode.
step 15 of 18
Overslept today...
Once again, I apologize for my forgotten screencaps...
In this step, I start to color everything & left the boots behind.
So, this is the basic shape of color tones. Which after that, I'll put my Smudge Tool to loosen the hard edged shape & add some color alongside my HAND_DRAWN textures that set to Darken (clipping-mask).
step 16 of 18
I use my SELF_MADE_CUSTOM_BRUSHES to start painting the BG textures which set to Soft Light after that.
step 17 of 18
Added new layer, with Default DRY-BRUSH, I scattered them above the textured layer and set to Overlay Mode.
step 18 of 18
I added the LAST step with Gradient from Adjustments Layer.
So, the LJS is ready for battle.
I'm sorry for this imperfect SBS, since it's not my hobby after all. Lol.
