A Work in Progress: Navi sapiens

I started my work as inspired by this sketch of Nisha Gandhi. Thanks a lot Nisha

Start drawing the face using soft brush, based on the original sketch, some minor changes added

Draw the hair using soft brush with pressure sensitive function, draw from the dark hairs to the brighter hair

Draw the ears

Add the Navi pattern on the face

I wasn't happy with the face so I changed it (nose and mouth) and blended my drawing with the eyes from the source using soft light blending mode. Added the armor from other source.

Draw the small creature, change the highlight colors on the face using a layer with colors blending mode

step 8 of 8

Add the background from other source, use the lens blur filter and colorize the background to the blue tone.
