this is the recomposed sketch from about 4 or 5 that I kept adding to and redoing. I wanted a more detailed sketch before painting to help facilitate the painting process.The finished sketch took almost as long as the painting of it.

after the sketch I used a ps dry brush to get a textured background

darken with deeper colors of the dry brush and paint the dress

start the facial colors , I put the eyes in but did not like the color so I am painting over them.
