A Work in Progress: Starry Skies

First I added a gradient.

Then I made some clouds by making my own brush. I did that by taking a feathered sample of the cloud filter and changed the brush settings, then i brushed different sizes of my brush to make it look sort of like a cloud.

Then I made stars with the noise filter and changed the levels around. Then duplicated 2 times. erased and added stars on all layers to make it look a little better.

This is a picture of the moon I took with my Fuji S2940. I use this in the next step.

I cut out the plane and added it to my picture. Then I cut out my moon and added it. I saturated the moon, then I duplicated it and blurred it to get a little bit of glow.

I re-sized the cloud I made earlier, darkened it, and highered the contrast. Then I duplicated it and warped it to make another little cloud peeking up.

Added finishing touches to the stars, moon, and plane.
