Source is manipulated using the liquify warp tool.
step 2 of 9
Difference cloud used on image from liquify warp
step 3 of 9
Using filter/render/glowing edges, more interest is added to background image being created
step 4 of 9
Bird is created using last image in last step. With liquify warp too, parts of bird are pulled and shaped with size 64 warp tool
step 5 of 9
A section of the 1st image warped for background is selected and will be used for final background. Bird shape is duplicated and will be duplicated one more time then scaled to various sizes and intensity changed on each size.
step 6 of 9
Several color changes will be made in background as image progresses until pleasing color is found. Here pieces of original source have been lassoed and duplicated and will be made into the branches.
step 7 of 9
Now branches have been shaped using liquify warp and smudge tools. Edges are trimmed with eraser tool. A few grape-like shapes are added with brush tool.
step 8 of 9
Filter/render/omni light circle is added here.
step 9 of 9
A birdhouse is fashioned by lassoing a section in the shape of the roof, then lassoing another section in A rectangular shape. The edges are refined with eraser tool, then color changes are made, filter textures added and gaussian blur added. Color intensity is taken down and scale taken down to move it a little into the distance.
Very nicely described, and very original creativity for the background.
